The active ingredient of anti-foaming additive is listed 30% on the inspection report; the solid ingredient of anti-foaming additive is changed to 33% on the report done five months later. As a matter of fact, the meanings of those two numbers are different: active ingredient means anti-foaming capacity. Until now, the inspection method used by our company is geared toward measuring anti-foaming capacity, and some clients critiqued that such method cannot produce accurate figures in a scientific way. Hence, starting from January of this year, our inspectors have changed the original method - active ingredient, to solid ingredient, which is calculated by placing the additive in a
'heated and sealed ventilated box' and baking it under 105 C for 2.5 hours (with 10g o.w.s). The numbers produced by the new method are more accurate.
This misunderstanding is caused by time lag between the orders placed by your company and a mistake made by our staff by forgetting to change
